About Us

Who I am

I'm Mel, the person behind Floraelle. Digestion is what got me here, it's the reason I started reading, researching, and eventually building something of my own.

Why I started reading about digestion

At some point, I got curious about how much of how we feel day to day actually traces back to digestion. That curiosity is what sent me down the rabbit hole, spec sheets, sourcing documentation, formulation studies, traditional use records. I didn't set out to build a supplement brand. I set out to understand something, and Floraelle is what came out of that.

I read everything before I trust anything

I don't let an ingredient into a Floraelle product until I've gone through everything I can find on it. If I can't explain clearly why something is in the bottle and where it came from, it doesn't earn a place there. It takes longer than picking ingredients off a standard supplier list. I've made my peace with that.

Why these ingredients are in here, and what I can and can't tell you

Here's where I want to be completely straight with you: I'm not allowed to say Floraelle cures, treats, or fixes anything, and I wouldn't want to even if I could. What I can tell you is the intention behind it: I only use ingredients that meet a quality standard I'm confident in, and that have traditionally been used in connection with digestion.

In the EU, brands aren't allowed to claim that a supplement helps with something unless that claim has been specifically authorized, and for most of these ingredients, it hasn't been. So I won't tell you it will help. That's not me being cagey, it's genuinely what the law requires, and I'd rather follow it than dress up a promise I can't back up.

So that's why these ingredients are in here: quality, tradition, and my own research. What it does for you, if anything, is something only you can find out. I'm not going to tell you what to expect.

Why this exists

I built Floraelle because I got curious about digestion and never really stopped. Every product I make grows out of that curiosity, researched as thoroughly as I know how to, with nothing on the label I can't actually back up.

If you've made it this far, there's a decent chance you're tired of the same thing I was

If you've made it this far, there's a decent chance you're tired of supplements that promise everything and deliver nothing, the vague labels, the “clinically proven” claims with no study behind them, the proprietary blends that hide what you're actually paying for.

I'm not going to add to that pile by promising you something I can't back up. What I'll do instead is make it easy for you to check for yourself.

Go read about the ingredients. I mean that.

There are only five ingredients in Debloat, so it's not a huge research project. Look them up. See what's actually documented about them, what's traditional use versus what's actually been studied, what the evidence really says versus what a label implies. I'd genuinely rather you do that than take my word for it.

I'd rather have someone who looked, thought about it, and chose not to buy, than someone who bought without looking at all.

And it's completely fine if you're not convinced

Once you've looked into it, you might decide Debloat is worth trying. You might decide it isn't. Both are a reasonable place to land, and I mean that. I'm not here to talk you into something you're not sure about. If you do want to try it, it's here. If you don't, that's a fine outcome too.

A considered next step

If you do want to try it, it's here. If you don't, that's a fine outcome too.
